“Ah, I see. However, no one is truly despicable.
Severus’s lips curled into an unpleasant smirk. “Then you’ve obviously not dealt with the same people who I have.”
“A…git? I am afraid I am not up-to-date on mortal terminology.”
“A git is a person who is absolutely despicable, which is what Sirius Black is.”
“Even the most dumbest species of animals is smart some of the time. Not that I am saying he is, but everyone can be dumb or smart sometimes.”
“You have not been around him for the time that I have. He is nothing besides a git.”
“Ah, that’s right. I remember having a conversation with one Sirius Black now.” Tristessa smiled. ”I see there are many more things I have to learn about the mortal world.”
“Sirius Black is nothing besides a dumb dog that deserves to be put to sleep,” Snape scowled.
“Er, wizard? I’ve heard that term once, but I cannot place it. Forgive me Severus Snape, but could you please tell me what a wizard is?”
“A wizard is a person who is capable of magic,” Severus replied, hoping he would not have to elaborate on what magic was.
“In what ways, if I may ask.”
“My actions saved the entirety of the Wizarding World, although I became the most hated wizard in the process.”
“But do you believe it?”
“In some ways, yes.”
“Can it?”
“Indeed. At least, that has been what I’ve been told for the last several months.”
“An interesting name, a bold, trustworthy one.”
“Perhaps the same could be said about myself.”
Tristessa bowed and rose, a warm smile on her face. ”Hello, I’m Tristessa, Goddess of Truth and Honesty. How are you?”
“I am Severus Snape,” he introduced himself.
